My professional journey
From Atlanta Court Clerk to Paralegal Professional
My path into law began with a fascination for courtroom television programs. In 1998, that interest led me to a court clerk position in Atlanta, Georgia, even though I had no previous legal work experience. I embraced the opportunity and continued learning.
Along the way, I earned an associate degree in Paralegal Studies, a Professional Forensic Program diploma, and a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice.
Now based in the Virgin Islands, I support law firms in family law, land matters, and banking-related work. My work also includes preparing protection orders and serving as a Commissioner for Oaths in the territory. Each experience has reinforced the importance of care, adaptability, and attention to detail.
